The overcoat is not a half-canvas construction; there is zero canvasing. There was no button hole on my lapel; rather, they made a mock button hole by stitching an outline. The button holes on the front were not finished. Overall, the quality is pretty poor. Wish I would have saved my money and put it towards a better coat. I knew there were no returns going in so I gambled on fit and quality. The fit is ok, the quality is poor.
